Programme


Objective of the workshop is to contribute to the formation of strategies for sustainable regional development in Amazonia through interdisciplinary comparison and intensive discussion. The focus of interest consist of the exploration of rural-urban linkages and their potentials and limitations for the formulation of strategies for sustainable settlement patterns in Amazonia.

The subjects, represented at the previous day, will be taken in smaller working groups. The participants are invited to present their experiences in the particular subjects, and to demonstrate possible best practices and the respective problems with implementation.
