bukof: Statement on the Pay Transparency Act

The bukof (Federal Conference of Women's Representatives) has published a new "Statement on the evaluation and amendment of the Pay Transparency Act (EntgTranspG)".

The second comprehensive evaluation of the Pay Transparency Act has confirmed the well-known criticisms that bukof and many other critics have levelled at the Act and which have led to its overall ineffectiveness. An amendment to the law is therefore important and indispensable. This amendment should be used to extend its scope to universities and the public sector.

The statement calls for the amendment of the Pay Transparency Act to include sanctions for violations of the equal pay requirement, the possibility of comparing pay across pay groups and safeguarding the rights of equal opportunities officers as experts on the gender pay gap when implementing the law.

Newsletter of BuKoF on SDG published

Sexualised discrimination and violence (SDG) is a largely taboo and often underestimated problem in all areas of society. Universities as places of work and training are unfortunately not safe spaces in this respect.
In order to keep the topic in mind and to inform about news, the commission of the BuKoF (Federal Conference of Women's Representatives) publishes this newsletter about every six months.
