03.07.2018 - Congratulations to Brigitte Brisson and Jan-Erik Schmidt on their successful defences. In her dissertation, Brigitte Brisson dealt with the promotion of motivation in mathematics, while Jan-Erik Schmidt did his doctorate on the effects of feedback on the health of teachers.

11.04.2018 - Ulrich Trautwein, Waltraud Schreiber (University of Eichstätt) and Clemens Hillenbrand (University of Oldenburg) have raised funds from the Federal Ministry of Education and Research. The project "inKLUsiv Geschichte lehren: Ein blended-learning-Konzept für die Lehrkräftefortbildung (KLUG)" [Teaching History inclusively: A blended learning concept for teacher training] will receive around 160,000 € (Tübingen share) until March 2021.

05.04.2018 - Brent Roberts, a personality researcher at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, has been a Distinguished International Professor at the Hector Research Institute since early 2018. Previously, he had the same function primarily at the LEAD Graduate School & Research Network, financed by the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Science.
