Sport Economics, Sport Management & Media Research
Under the direction of Prof. Dr. Tim Pawlowski the department team represents the subjects of sport economics, management and media research. The research is focused on the econometric analysis of sports demand (current project funded by DFG/SNF: labour market effects of sports related public expenditures). Furthermore, the department team conducts research related to sports labour economics, the development of sport organizations, the marketing of media and commercial rights as well as various issues related to (social media) communication in sports.
