Center for Applied Geoscience (ZAG)

 

 

The Center for Applied Geoscience (ZAG) at Eberhard Karls Universität Tübingen in Germany has an international reputation of excellence in European water research. It was established in 2000 and includes 13 professorships with specializations in Environmental Analytical Chemistry, Environmental Biotechnology, Environmental and Engineering Geophysics, Environmental Mineralogy & Chemistry, Environmental Physics, Environmental Systems Analysis, Environmental Toxicology, Geomicrobiology, Geophysics, Hydrogeochemistry, Hydrogeology, Microbial Ecology as well as Sedimentary Geology.

 

Researchers of ZAG are participating in the

  • Research Training Group 1829 Integrated Hydrosystem Modelling
  • Collaborative Research Center 1253 CAMPOS of the Universities of Tübingen, Hohenheim, Stuttgart and Munich as well as the Helmholtz Centers for Environmental Research in Leipzig (UFZ) and for Environment & Health in Munich (HGMU)
