The Career Service of the University helps you embark on a career. Personal individual advice as well as group coaching is open to students.
The Akademiker-Team of the Agentur für Arbeit Tübingen offers specialized advice for academics, preferably shortly before or after passing the final exams. General information is also given on possible occupational fields, career start and job market, application, professional training, business start-up, and postgraduate studies (information only in German).
Self-employment and Startups
Should you envisage starting your own business – maybe based on some academic research you did: The Gründungsförderung of the University offers tips and help on the how-tos for startups (information only in German).
Chambers of Industry and Commerce (IHK)

Alumni Tübingen supports the Faculties’ contacts with their former members and helps ensure that graduates and former students continue to benefit from their association with the University after they have moved on. The society functions as a forum for knowledge transfer and the exchange of information, a link to the latest research and current developments in higher education, a a source of further education and lifelong learning, as well as network for mutual support and exchange.
