Students in the inter-university Medical Technologies program at the Universities of Stuttgart and Tübingen pay an additional solidarity charge for the public transport authority Verkehrsverbund Stuttgart (VVS) of currently 45.60 euros.
Tuition fees for international students and students taking second degrees
Payment of semester fees
All students must pay the fees listed above upon enrollment at the University of Tübingen. After enrolling, you will receive a payment-due notice from student administration, calling on you to transfer the amount due, including your student ID number in the transfer information.
IMPORTANT! You will not get further payment-due notices. In order to re-enroll for the following semesters you must ensure that you transfer the semesterly fees within the re-enrollment period (15 January - 15 February each year for the following summer semester and 1 June - 15 August each year for the following winter semester). Otherwise your enrollment will be terminated.
There is a surcharge of 10 euros
- for late enrollment.
- for late re-enrollment. This sum is charged if the fees payable for re-enrollment have not been received by the university within the re-enrollment period.
- for late change of study program (after semester has started).
- for late payment of tuition fees, administration fees, or the student services fee.
If more than one of the above applies, the surcharge per semester remains only 10 euros.
