Gametozyte (© DPDx: CDC's web site
for laboratory identification of parasites)
Estimation what daily fraction of asexual parasites develops into circulating gametozytes, and for how long these gametocytes circulate in the blood, using historical data which were collected during malario-therapy against neuro-syphilis, lead to a publication which describes different models and the model selection process which led to the most plausible model, another publication which interpretes the results of the best model in biological terms and various congress contributions.
