Professor Treptow teaches educational science with a specialism in social pedagogy.
He joined the Institute of Educational Science in Summer Semester 2003.
His research interests are fourfold: the theory and history of social pedagogy and social work; the modes of social assistance; the pedagogy of early childhood; and cultural education.
