Sustainable Sports Facility Management

As part of the "Sports Facility Management"-course taught by Professor Tim Pawlowski, a group of international sport management students visited the Hallenduo in Stuttgart and the PreZero Arena in Sinsheim.

During a 90-minute guided tour through the interior of the Schleyer-Halle and the Porsche-Arena in Stuttgart, 22 students from Germany, Japan, and South Korea received exciting details and background information of the strategic and operational management practice. A focus was on the preparation work of the STUTTGART GERMAN MASTERS, an annual world class equestrian event.

In the afternoon, the focus in the PreZero Arena in Sinsheim, Europe’s first certified zero-waste stadium, was on resource and waste management. The topic was developed during workshops and a stadium tour with representatives of PreZero.
