Pre:start Financing
How do I bridge the time until funding starts?
The early phase of a startup can be expensive. Startup teams need time for research, buying materials and/or data collection. We at the Startup Center provide support for teams from the beginning with our Pre:start Financing program, with a one-time amount of 500 euros prior to application and a further, monthly grant of 500 euros for the bridging period between application and approval of programs like EXIST and Junge Innovatoren - limited to a maximum of three months.
Applying for Pre:start Financing
Who can apply?
- Founder teams consisting of at least two people
- students, academics, employees or alumni of the University of Tübingen
Funding amount:
- One-time initial support: 500 euros
- Support in the bridging period (max. 3 months): 500 euros per month
limited to three projects in 2021 and six projects in 2022
Requirements:
- Participation in an initial interview at the Startup Center
- Successful assessment of the project's eligibility for funding by the Startup Center team
