With a background in Philosophy of Science (M.A.) and Computer Science (B.Sc., M.Sc.), he combines the methodologies of both disciplines and analyses the social impact of algorithmic systems.  He is particularly interested in the political significance of the systems and the relationship between epistemology and ethics in machine learning.
