International Workshop: Sprachliche und poetische Ökonomie: Ambiguität und Kleine Formen / Linguistic and Poetic Economy: Ambiguity and Small Forms

On 14 & 15 May 2021, the international workshop „Sprachliche und poetische Ökonomie: Ambiguität und Kleine Formen / Linguistic and Poetic Economy: Ambiguity and Small Forms” took place in a hybrid-format. It was a joint event of the RTG 1808 Ambiguity: Production and Perception (Eberhard Karls University Tübingen) and of the RTG 2190: Small Forms (HU Berlin), in cooperation with the Literarisches Colloquium Berlin (LCB). Many talks were given at the LCB/ were streamed from there. Further participants could follow the talks via zoom.

In the context of the workshop, various disciplines worked together. For instance, speakers discussed linguistic, literary, journalistic as well as poetic ideas on economy and ambiguity. Creative and artistic interludes complemented the programme. Additionally, we had an interesting evening together with Austrian author Clemens Setz, who talked about his new book “Die Bienen und das Unsichtbare”.

The workshop was organised by Prof. Dr. Angelika Zirker (Tübingen) and Dr. Maren Jäger (Berlin).
