Nils ist Postdoc im STACY Projekt und PI des NFDI4Earth Pilot "Propagating complex uncertainties in data cubes". Seine Forschungsinteressen umfassen glazial-interglaziale Klima- und Vegetationsvariabilität, abrupte Klimaveränderungen, statistische Klimarekonstruktionen aus fossilen Pollen und Klimafeldrekonstruktionen mit Bayes'scher Statistik.
