Uni-Tübingen

Sections

The discipline-specific offerings of the sectional graduate academies and the centrally organized transdisciplinary qualification programs Doctoral Researcher Development Program and the Researcher Development Program together form the range of courses, workshops, and events available on the Graduate Academy's ILIAS Gateway.

The Graduate Academy is the central structure for the graduate academies of the individual sections. It is located at the Central University Administration, Section II.1, and operates under the authority of Vice-President for Research and Innovation Prof. Dr. Peter Grathwohl. In addition to the central Graduate Academy, there are also sections of the Graduate Academy at the University of Tübingen, which are located in the faculties. The faculties have appointed contact persons who are in regular contact with the Graduate Academy. This ensures that needs are identified and coordinated at an early stage. Some of the sections organize their own subject-specific qualification programs, while others organize cross-faculty events together with the central Graduate Academy. There are the sections "Medical Faculty", "Faculty of Science", "Faculty of Humanities" and "Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences". Of course, doctoral students from faculties without their own section can also take advantage of the offers of the Graduate Academy.
