Presentation Guidelines

Poster Sessions

The poster session will take place on Friday, December 9th in the Rittersaal in the university castle’s museum and will be accompanied by finger food and drinks. Poster presenters will be provided with a board and push pins for mounting posters. The poster boards will be 100 cm wide x 180 cm tall (about 39x70 inches), allowing for the standard A0 size posters in portrait layout.

In order to allow presenters see the other presenters’ posters, we are asking presenters to prepare a 120 second (2-minute) overview for a “lightning round” through the posters to open the session. Please be prepared to go through the most important points of your poster in 120 seconds or less. The session will proceed as follows:

12:45-14:35 Poster session

- 12:45-13:15 Set up & Break
Presenters can take this time to have some food/drinks before the lightning round begins.

- 13:15-13:35 Lightning Round
Presenters each give a 120 second overview of their posters. All are welcome, but the primary purpose is to allow presenters to see other presenters’ posters.

- 13:35-14:35 Poster session –Individual Discussion

We ask presenters to be at or near their posters for discussions and/or questions. However, we encourage an informal atmosphere with open discussion, food, and drinks.
