Jochum group: Astroparticle physics

The experimental research group led by Josef Jochum focuses on the search for dark matter (WIMPs) with the help of superconducting cryodetectors. Other research interests include neutrino physics, quantum interferometry and nonlinear dynamics. One of the central research areas is the development of highly sensitive cyrosensors for elementary particles with the help of superconducting quantum interferometers (SQUIDs). As a consequence close contacts exist to the research group of Kleiner, Kölle.

More information is available on the group homepage of Josef Jochum.
